With nearly two decades of elite tax law experience, Alexandra G. Foote-Jones serves as Senior Tax Counsel for the 453 Trust team, providing clients with unparalleled expertise in advanced capital gains tax deferral strategies. Alexandra earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Arizona and her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University, two of the country’s leading institutions for legal education.
Her career includes serving as Senior Litigation Counsel for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where she advised on complex tax controversies and litigation. This rare insider experience gives Alexandra a decisive edge in structuring Deferred Sales Trust (DST) solutions that meet both the spirit and letter of IRS guidelines. Prior to her government service, Alexandra spent more than 13 years at a nationally recognized estate and tax planning firm, counseling high-net-worth individuals and business owners on wealth preservation and tax mitigation strategies.
At 453 Trust, Alexandra uses her deep understanding of tax law and IRS practice to help clients defer taxes lawfully and maximize their financial flexibility after major liquidity events.
